Key Features

Innovative solution to improving the safety of flight :

Efficiency and confidence of flight data analysis process highly depends on reliability of in-flight recorded data.Flight Data Vision 200 maintenance recorder series are designed using the latest storage technologies and electronic concepts to provide highly reliable recorders.

Reliability :

SSQAR does not make use of any mechanical recording system. Storage philosophy is based on Solid State Memory technology.

Stores Flight Data into Removable Solid State Memory Card :

For a flexible data storage solution: Operator may select any storage capacity from 96 Megabytes to 1 Gigabyte (200 to 2000 hours of 64 WPS flight data) according to his requirements.

Uses Industry Standard Media, Standard PC technology :

Using PCMCIA concept eliminates the need for a specialized and expensive download unit: Reading out recorded flight data parameters utilizes the actual PCMCIA drive of the computer running standard Windows© operating systems.

Outstanding capacity and reliability :

Because it does not involve any mechanical component, PCMCIA/PC Card standard is one of the highest reliable media storage available so far with higher capacity to come at lower price.

Quick & Simple installation :

The SSQAR may be installed nearly everywhere in the aircraft in any orientation. No mounting tray and no forced cooling required.

ARINC 573/717 Compatibility :

The SSQAR records all the flight data parameters available to the crash recorder (FDR).

Time Stamped Records :

For precise recovery of data and flight identification. The SSQAR time stamps may be used to locate events when no GMT is recorded to the FDR.

Significant weight and installation cost savings :

Weight is less than 1.5 Kg/3.3 Lb, including storage media. The SSQAR uses standard MIL-C-26482 series connector instead of ARINC 600 series.

Low power :

Power Supply: The SSQAR comes with both power supply standards: 28 Vdc and 115 Vac/ 400Hz
Power Consumption : Maximum 7 Watts using 1 Gigabyte PCMCIA Card used
